Meet: The VSC/SquadOne Vegas VIP meet Part I
This post probably seems a bit late (and it is), but winter throws my pacing off. Weeks ago we visited Las Vegas to attend the SEMA show. We had originally intended to stay in Vegas from Sunday evening to Friday morning. But when SquadOne and VSC announced there would be a VIP car meet on Friday night, we decided to stick around.
Event: Season Finale: Global RallyCross Qualifying
Tonight during our stay in Vegas for DODOlogic’s annual trip to SEMA we had the opportunity to watch the qualifying runs for GRC. It was my first time being in the presence of all out rally cars, walking through the teams tents the smell of race gas was lurking in the air. Unfortunately we missed the media meeting in the morning so we couldn’t get the best spots to shoot from, although, these pictures should suffice. Tomorrow we will be there to get the oh so important media vests to gain access to the good shooting locations!

Thankfully we did find but needless to say we felt a little out of place as we had been driving our bland daily drivers. The bright side was that the slightly below average temperature did not faze our Canadian sensibilities.
On the Road with DODO: On the Fence
I of course went to Vegas to watch drifting and so far you have seen none, so here are some drifting pics.
On the Road with DODO: Field’s of Drift
One of the pleasant surprises of my trip was getting to meet Matt Field. A few months ago I posted a picture of his car up on DODO; Something about Matt’s car just sticks with me. His car was tucked away at the back of the paddocks, kept company by a tent, some lawn chairs, Matt and a few friends. Turns out, Matt is a super nice guy who shares my fondness for S Chassis.

Random Snap: Hopping In the Way Back When Machine
I was looking at a bunch of the random photos that we have banked up over the last year. There is some pretty decent stuff waiting to get posted. Here is a photo Richard snapped of a NSX last year.
