I’ve held off on my coverage of the final round of Global RallyCross (GRC) in Las Vegas. I didn’t feel a lot of pressure to get this article put together because my fellow contributor, Scott, put together some pretty extensive coverage. There was no point for me to reiterate what he’d already covered.
Last week during SEMA, the Global RallyCross Championship held their 2012 season finale. The event took place in the Gold Lot of the the Las Vegas Convention Center. The last post concerning this event was coverage of the qualifying runs, this post is about the real stuff. This is about who would take the title in an all out battle between these 600HP AWD rally machines.
Slammed! That is the word I’ll use to describe how I feel after my trip to Las Vegas for the SEMA show. The trip was intense and I am really glad that I was able to take part in it, but coming home to a bunch of school work is not something that I really gave much thought to before I left…Miraculously though I have thrown together a small teaser for the Global Rallycross footage that I captured over the past few days. You viewers will have to wait for me to catch up on my homework to see the rest of trip, so until that time comes enjoy the anti-lag explosions and audio peaks on whatever platform you watch our content on.
First I would like to apologize for the delay in getting the article up today. It was a crazy day of getting back into the normal non-Vegas life I haven’t been accustomed to in almost 10-days. With that said, yes everyone from our camp made it back in one piece after a long trip to Vegas and back. Today I will touch on the adventure as well as give a rundown on what happened this weekend in the motorsports world. Let’s begin……
One of the favorite things we like to see at SEMA is drift demos. As you have seen in a previous post, SEMA Show 2011: Drift Hoonigans, there was some pretty fantastic drifting taking place at SEMA. Ford out Front brought out the Octane Academy; Ken block and Vaughn Gittin Jr. put on a great show, but they were not the only ones out there shredding rubber.
It’s Monday! Yay! I can’t think of anything to say except for that I could use your help filling the space here at the MMR. If you want me to mention your event or if you are a driver and have some news you want to share, please send me an email me at dave(a)dodo-logic.ca. Otherwise it’s time for the Rundown.

So most of you know that the guys here at DODOlogic still have to work to make ends meet. DODOlogic isn’t a magical fountain of money that allows us to travel the continent taking pictures and sharing them with you. That can be attributed to a little bit of coincidence and in most cases very understanding better halves. What I am trying to get at here is that today’s Monday Morning Rundown is going to be very short and sweet since I spent 15 hours of my Sunday working my ‘real’ job and will likely be doing close to that again today. Not much time for information gathering this morning, so I present to you the shortest Rundown yet!
Over the last couple of months I have spent Sunday Evenings and for the most part early Monday Mornings trying to put together one of these ‘Rundowns’ for all to read. Am I telling you what you want to hear? Is there something else you want to know about? Let me know by leaving a comment. Otherwise let’s get started…..
There really wasn’t much going this past weekend in the world of Motorsports. I think maybe the Easter weekend is somewhat to blame for that. What that means for you this morning is a quick overview of what took place over the weekend…..
