Local event: Majestics 2013, part one
Well, here it is: our annual coverage of the Majestics car show held here in Regina.
Event: More cars from Kent
I have a confession: When I don’t provide you guys with original content I feel shameful. With winter now in full swing and my schedule clear of automotive events, the site is going to have a little less original content. Luckily that’s not the case today, though, because we have some more photos from Kent, WA.
Meet: The VSC/SquadOne Vegas VIP meet Part I
This post probably seems a bit late (and it is), but winter throws my pacing off. Weeks ago we visited Las Vegas to attend the SEMA show. We had originally intended to stay in Vegas from Sunday evening to Friday morning. But when SquadOne and VSC announced there would be a VIP car meet on Friday night, we decided to stick around.
Event: DODOlogic’s Fallout 2012 – presented by Taylor Scion
This past Sunday was the second annual Fallout meet. Car enthusiasts in Saskatchewan only have about 5 months of good car weather…. if we are lucky. So even though it is not Fall yet, we decided to do it early before we ran out of good weather. So we got together with Taylor Scion, Valet Auto Spa and a couple hundred of our favorite people and did car stuff all afternoon.
Event: 306MotorClub X DODOlogic’s Summer Session by Performance Plus
Event: Driven 2012 PI
A week ago the Calgarian city of Alberta kicked off the summer car scene for a second time with Driven, its biggest car show in two years. After being absent last year due to roof renovations, it came back this year with astonishing street and track platforms. Some of which are frequently seen on the roads while others are babied to only see sunny days and dry smooth roads.
Random Car: S2000 with Nice Pipes
Anything else but a car and this shot would be considered on perverted, but here’s the business. This is actually HKS’s newish design for the S2K. All those twists and turns are what make this the HKS SSM (Super Sound Master). You can always leave it to the Japanese to calls them like they seems them. The exhaust puts that distinct VTEC sound at center stage or at least that is how the story is told.
MEET: VIP in Vegas Part II
It is still amazing that we found this meet. We were only minutes away from giving up and going to drown our sorrows in a drink(s). Further investigation even shows that this probably wasn’t the meet were originally looking for. It doesn’t matter though, it was rad! It came complete with a food truck and really cool cars of every sort. Not every car was VIP so I will try to mix it up with some variety.
Local Event: DODOlogic’s Fallout by Taylor Scion – Part I
As we mentioned a few times, this past Sunday was DODOlogic’s Fallout presented by Taylor Scion. Simply put, Talyor Scion helped us throw a going away party for the nice weather. It is no secret that winter is coming and soon all of these rides will go into hibernation. I hope it goes without saying that we are super thankful to everyone who came out.
WWW: Staying the Course
A few weeks ago a reader left a comment about either my WWW post or DODOlogic in general, I am not entirely sure. It was suggested that we have strayed too far from our Saskatchewan roots and we should return to our original image. A few of us had an in-depth conversation about the direction of DODOlogic. You can probably tell by today’s post that we decided to stay the course. We have come too far just to turn around and go back – what if Christopher Columbus would have turned around halfway before getting here? Or better yet, what if the Earl of Sandwich would have only went halfway? Well, we would have condiments all over our hands is what. So onward and upward with Wacky Wheel Wednesday.
