Event: Access Communications – Show and Shine 2012
I woke up Monday morning of the Labor Day weekend not wanting to do a whole lot. Between planning the Fallout meet for this upcoming Sunday, finding and posting content, I was looking to take a day off. However, a conversation with Dave (Monday Morning Rundown author) quickly convinced me to attend the Annual Access Communication Show and Shine.

Event: 306MotorClub X DODOlogic’s Summer Session Cruise
“Early in the morning, risin’ to the street” is all I can think to start this post with, not because I’m a huge Sublime fan but more like it is exactly what we did on Saturday. Before we could get to Summer Session, we had to get to Saskatoon and that was nothing that a quick 2 hour cruise wouldn’t solve.

Announcement: 306MotorClub X DODOlogic’s Summer Session by Performance Plus
Collaborations are all the rage today. Think about it – without sweet collabs we wouldn’t have things like rum & Coke or cookies & milk. In the style of the many great alliances that have come before us, we are joining forces with Saskatchewan’s largest automotive community. On July 14th, 306Motorclub and ourselves cordially invite you to Summer Session by Performance Plus. A mid-season car meet is something we can all look forward to, and as promised it’s coming to Saskatoon this time. So bring some sunscreen and whatever you got on two or more wheels, because there’s a parking lot waiting for you. Check out the poster for details and see you in Saskatoon on July 14th.

Local Ride: Justin Lilley’s 93′ Toyota Pickup.

If there was an automotive dictionary and I was appointed to define the word “sleeper” all I would simply do is post a picture of this truck. Built for hauling his 1000hp Targa top FB to shows and alike this 1993 Toyota Pickup has a 13B from the Japanese Mazda Cosmo pushing 330rwhp and 310ft/lbs of torque!
Local Car: Spring in your step
Spring is arguably one of the best times in Saskatchewan. Although, we had an unusually mild winter it still meant that most of the cars were hidden away. Spring is the best because it is just about getting your car out on the road, sometimes even if it isn’t ready.

Random Pic: Non-Typical
Typically up here in the Canadian prairie winter-land most enthusiasts park their cars for the winter and buy a ‘beater’ to get through the cold arctic months. If you don’t fall into the enthusiast category you are probably the type of person that buys a vehicle that works best for you for year round use. A very popular choice up here is the compact SUV segment of the market. The Honda CRV being a very common and popular example.
Non-typically you get the enthusiast that buys a set of winter tires for their summer performance/sports car and drive it year round. Here in Regina there are a couple of Porsche 911 Turbo owners that do this and the fine gentleman that owns the car below. All-wheel drive is good in the snow after all, isn’t it?
Local Event: Collectors Car Club
While setting out for a random shoot the other day, I found this classic car show in the parking lot of a local Art Gallery . It is a yearly event where American car heritage is celebrated in Regina. Large amount of collector cars gathered in one place to shine in the splendor of American Muscle.

Local Event: 1st Ever Defrost Meet
So this past Sunday was DODOlogic’s first attempt at a car meet. It was super cool to see so many different types of enthusiasts come out. All I have to say is, I was impressed with the turn out, I really didn’t expect the meet to be as big as it was!

Random Snap: Riddle me this?
Today we will try something new; I will show you a picture and you can tell me about it. Is this a fun game? Or I am just confused by most two wheel devices? I’ll never tell……
