WWW: CT200h X SSR

Anything waving an SSR flag is bound to attract my attention, especially while I continue to seek out content for Wheel Wednesdays. But as I approached this Lexus CT200h, it become clear that it was more than just a set of wheels.

WWW: The wheels of change

Every once and a while I break away from my comfort zone of Japanese wheels and write about something I have little-to-no understanding of. Today is one of those days; you could say he wheels of change are in motion. Below you are looking at the Lexus LF-CC. It’s a Lexus concept vehicle that has been approved for production.

Event: More cars from Kent

I have a confession: When I don’t provide you guys with original content I feel shameful. With winter now in full swing and my schedule clear of automotive events, the site is going to have a little less original content. Luckily that’s not the case today, though, because we have some more photos from Kent, WA.

WWW: Revision Audio Celsior X Work Euip E05

This is about as close as you can get to being a Celsior without actually being a Celsior. It’s actually a Lexus LS430 that runs as many Celsior parts as possible; so much so that even the glass has been swapped over to Celsior glass. “Why?” You may ask. Simple: it’s all in the details.

Event: Rainy Day Toy Drive

A few weeks ago, my wife and I took a road trip down to Portland. For the first time in a long time, I traveled with no intentions of visiting an automotive event. It was a weird thing for me and by the end of the trip I was going through withdrawal. Lucky for me, our friend Dylan Evans mentioned a toy drive that was happening in Kent, Washington. This just so happened to coincide with the trip back to Canada.

This post probably seems a bit late (and it is), but winter throws my pacing off. Weeks ago we visited Las Vegas to attend the SEMA show. We had originally intended to stay in Vegas from Sunday evening to Friday morning. But when SquadOne and VSC announced there would be a VIP car meet on Friday night, we decided to stick around.

Video: VIP in Vegas

Before leaving Las Vegas, we stopped off at the VIP meet. We pulled in 15 minutes before the meet started and the lot was already starting to fill up. I began snapping pictures and Scott did something he has never done before, he started shooting video. I am pretty sure this meet was Scott’s favorite part of the trip, cars we only see on the internet slowly started rolling in and Scott captured the video below.

SEMA Show 2012: Part 2

The 2012 edition of the SEMA Show is coming to an end today and we have spent the last four days taking as many pictures as possible. Seeing as how it is winter back home, you can expect to see much of this content through the following weeks. Before we head out to tie up some loose ends, I thought I would leave you with some photos of just a portion of what we came across this past week.

This Audi R8 at the Nitto Tire booth boast an impressive 1000AWHP.
