Last week during SEMA, the Global RallyCross Championship held their 2012 season finale. The event took place in the Gold Lot of the the Las Vegas Convention Center. The last post concerning this event was coverage of the qualifying runs, this post is about the real stuff. This is about who would take the title in an all out battle between these 600HP AWD rally machines.

Slammed! That is the word I’ll use to describe how I feel after my trip to Las Vegas for the SEMA show. The trip was intense and I am really glad that I was able to take part in it, but coming home to a bunch of school work is not something that I really gave much thought to before I left…Miraculously though I have thrown together a small teaser for the Global Rallycross footage that I captured over the past few days. You viewers will have to wait for me to catch up on my homework to see the rest of trip, so until that time comes enjoy the anti-lag explosions and audio peaks on whatever platform you watch our content on.

So this is my last day of dragging my feet. I managed to dig up some fresh content while I was away from the site and I can’t wait to share it. In the upcoming weeks you can expect to see a lot more from us: a visit to the Fatlace Paddock, road trips, and a little Ken Block. We will also be heading to Winnipeg to support our good friend, Gonzo… plus drifting, meets and car shows to come. Until then, I will leave you with a single wheel, as it is Wednesday. But more importantly, scroll down and watch the KDF half-hour film. It is rad.

I write this weeks edition of the rundown while being closely watched by the newest member of my family, Carson.  If you didn’t already know, my wife gave birth to our second child last Wednesday evening and it has been a whirlwind few days since.  So I hope everyone will understand that I am going to keep this weeks article on the narrow and share some thoughts and happenings.  Let’s begin…..

Happy Monday!  Those of you who know me are aware that I am dabbling in some renovation work during the off-season from my ‘real’ job.  I spent all of last week in wonderful Shaunavon, Saskatchewan and put in an honest 75 hours of work in 5-days.  The boss was driving us back late Friday evening when he almost put the truck and trailer into the ditch just outside of Swift Current.  My life flashed before me while I wondered what would everyone have done without the Rundown?  HAHAHA.  No one cares about my stupid Rundown.  Let’s begin….
