Hood Rich

We’re going to start from the end and then jump to the beginning. What you see here is the final product of Carter Jackson’s Hood Rich 240SX.

Most of the art work was done by Alyssa Tiefenbach, Jesse Exner and Victor Lam.

It turned out to be a pretty good way to draw a crowd at what was mostly a classic car show.

I tried my best to document the entire process and catch this Sharpie art work at different stages.

Sometimes other people would join in. Above you see Danny Goertz chipping in, even though he doesn’t really like cars. Danny mostly likes live music and inappropriate jokes, but he put that aside to help out.

At this point I didn’t realize just how far this project was going to go.

This is about when the show ended, so they packed up and finished it later that night.
And that is what this turned out to be… in a literal sense.
