If you have known me for any length of time you know that I am huge Fatlace fan, hell it is part of the reason there are so many posts on DODOlogic. Some people will probably laugh at this but Fatlace as an entity is part of the reason I picked up a camera and started shooting cars. They gave me an introduction to style a few years ago and I have been following them ever since.
As someone who writes for an automotive blog you can’t help but be awe struck by the reach Fatlace has earned. Not only that but how they constructed a legitimate business out of their personal passions.
I have seen many posts of people visiting Fatlace or the Paddocks, all of them always playing it cool. You can rest assured I was not one of those people, it was like being a kid in a candy store. Everything had sense of familiarity that I had pieced together from Facebook , Instagram and other media.
However, needless to say it is quite different being there in person than looking at it through a computer screen.
Todd (don’t know his last name) met us at the door and would become our tour guide for the afternoon. He answered all of my silly questions between my shutter repeatedly opening and closing. One of the things we learned was that this Ruckus had just received an upgraded engine, more cc’s for more fun.
I saw some things that I have never seen before.
