Event Announcement: DODOlogic’s Defrost 2013 by Taylor Scion

Author: We are infringing upon our usual wheel post to officially announce one of our annual meets: DODOlogic’s Defrost 2013 by Taylor Scion will be held at the Conexus Arts Centre on Saturday, April 27. We have launched an event page on facebook where you can tell us if you’ll be there. As usual, it is a car meet and not a show, so bring what you got.

With round 3 of the Driftwest series fast approaching, I sat down with Shawn Hawley to ask him about his set up this year and his thoughts about the coming round
Feature: Going, Going, Gonzo
Gonzo (Chris Gonzalez) is no stranger to DODOlogic and DODOlogic is no stranger to Gonzo. You’ve probably gathered that if you’ve followed us for any length of time. Gonzo has successfully created a bromance with our entire publication and we’re so happy to see him live his dream. Last weekend we drove a few hours to help support his drifting habit.
Announcement: Gonzo Drift x DODOlogic Shirt
It gives us great pleasure to announce that Gonzo Drift and DODOlogic have joined forces and created this collaboration. We here at DODOlogic wanted to do something nice for our friend and the local drift scene and this is what we came up with.
Almost three years ago, near the beginning of this whole experiment, we met a car enthusiast. This guy named Chris Gonzalez traveled all the way from Winnipeg to Regina just so he could learn how to drift in what was maybe one of the cleanest S14 Zenki Silvias we had ever seen. A lot has changed since that rainy day in May. Chris’ clean S14 has had a few love taps and has doubled the number of cylinders. Also Chris is no longer Chris, he is simply Gonzo.

DMCC: Beats the “Hawl” out of me.
Why haven’t I posted pictures of Mr. Shawn Hawley? The answer is where today’s title came from. For those of you who don’t know Shawn “Shawley” Hawley, he is the DMCC Pro driver who tamed the blue beast.
